The Lake of Innisfree - revisited

In September 2010, I wrote an entry reflecting my perspective on the poem "the Lake of Innisfree" by the famous writer William Butler Yeats. In the entry, I basically agreed that going to some places we long to go could be a possible way to feel free and be happy and satisfied with our lives. However, today, reflecting back on what I wrote based on the experiences throughout the whole year 2010, I now realise that happiness is really a state of mind regardless of where we are. One could be happy just at home spending time with the beloved ones. Some are happy spending their time alone reading their books on the porches. Some might enjoy their life to the fullest but are swollen inside.
